Sweet Potato Pie


1 1/2 cp cooked yams
2/3 cp dark brn. sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tbl. lemon juice
1/4 cp milk
Pecan Halves
9 inch Deep Pie Crust



Mix together all ingredients except pecans.

Fill pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and decorate with pecans by placing halves around the edges of pie and a few in the middle.
